then played it later and had to turn it down to 1080p. pretty sure the first time i played this game i cranked it up to almost ultra and 4k and was getting playable frames. Snyway, thanks for the confrimation somethings up. is the i7 6700 the non hyperthreaded version? i guess theres probably more cpu overhead with more screens too? actually i dont see why really, its just one big virtual screen. 70% cpu usage? mine is only around 20% but i guess that includes all cores and threads so its not a realistic measurement but still. Yeah, dunno what was going on, running better now. Looked same as 4k but with better graphics details and 70+fps Played really nice.Īlthough eventually I settled for 7680x1440 mostly high and ultra settings. I was running triple 4k tv's at 11520x2160 with medium high and some ultra settings and getting high 50s. Oprindeligt skrevet af Crash McWreakit:Something not right there.

and the intro and stop at marshal cut scenes made skippable too. i would like rx cars in freeplay rally stages and the always online stuff removed from singleplayer etc. and its been a week since the last patch/ news from codemasters, maybe there will be some improvements soon? i certainly hope so anyway.Īll i want is better vr performance/ optimization and much better ffb. ive heard some horror stories of how it performs. going back to reprojection with dirt rally 2.0 does not sound ideal to me. (fx8350, 16gb 1.6ghz ddr3, gtx 1060 6gb) so im loving the sharper image and smoother experience. i used to have to run low-medium settings at 45fps constant reprojection with my old gpu + cpu. at the moment i can 140% supersample dirt rally 1 while maxing graphics with constant 90fps and no reprojection. time is short and i just want to have some fun, im used to being good at it so if i suck at dirt rally 2.0 i may well get very easily frustrated. its the weekend tomorrow so cant wait to give it a go! :-) hopefully i dont get frustrated at the differences between it and original dirt rally and give up and go back to that, lol. they have made some minor ffb improvements since then though so hopefully its feeling better. tried it on a wheel once earlier this year and it felt awful to me. time to try dirt rally 2.0 with said setup. but i have not used a monitor or a gamepad to play that game in years, stirctly vr and wheel setup.
#4K DIRT RALLY PROFESSIONAL#
if i try i am usually first with professional difficulty ai, often middle of the back or stightly below when just playing casually. i have been putting off getting used to this game until vr was released, and now that it has its apparently not performing well so i waited a week. Time to stop playing with a damn game pad though. so i could technically up some of the settings again if i wanted. still stayed locked at 60fps and between 50-60% gpu usage. Just did a night rain stage in new zealand with the above settings.
